Tata Power appoints 3 independent directors

Bhandarkar is the former MD of Rothschild's Investment operations in India.

The appointment of all the three independent directors was recently approved at a Board meeting.

together with its subsidiaries and jointly controlled entities has an installed gross generation capacity of 9,432 MW and a presence in all the segments of the power sector namely fuel security and logistics, generation (thermal, hydro, solar and wind), transmission, distribution and trading.

Post WREPL (Welspun Renewables Energy) acquisition, the installed gross generation capacity would be 10,573 MW.
