Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today ordered an inquiry by the Anti-Corruption Bureau into allegations that some persons have obtained admissions to the MBBS course under sports quota by submitting fake certificates.
"The government has been informed that some are misusing the sports quota to get MBBS seats. CM (has) ordered a comprehensive inquiry into it," a release from Rao's office said.
The chief minister said action would be taken against the culprits,the release added.
