Three drowned in water tank

The incident occurred yesterday at Chhatargarh area when the 25-year-old woman along with the girls, aged 7 and 10 years, had gone to fetch water from the tank, they said.

The children suddenly slipped into the seven-feet-deep tank. In order to save them, the woman jumped into the water body but in vain. All the three drowned in the tank, police said.

The bodies were later fished out by locals, they said.
