Three persons killed after struck by lightning

Two girls, identified as Lalu Kumari (10) and Mausam Kumari (14) were killed and two others Mamata Kumari (12) and Madhuri Kumari (8) injured when lightning struck them while they were grazing cattle in a filed, the police said.

One Ramphal Mandal (42) was killed and another Munilal Tudu injured after struck by lighting at Dobhi and Gokulpur villages respectively, they said.

The bodies have been sent for post-mortem and the injured admitted to a hospital for treatment, the police said.
