Three Shia Hazara men killed in Balochistan

Related News

The three men were seriously injured when the gunmen shot them this afternoon at Arbab Karam Khan Road in Quetta, the capital of the restive Balochistan province.

They died while being taken to a nearby hospital, police said.

All three men were members of the minority Shia Hazara community, which has repeatedly been targeted by groups like the Lashkar-e-Jhangvi.

Police cordoned off the area and launched a search operation though no arrests were made.

The attackers, who were riding a motorcycle, escaped after the shooting.

No group claimed responsibility for the attack.

Balochistan has been rocked by ethnic and sectarian violence that has claimed hundreds of lives over the past few years.
