Two booked for illegally manufacturing fireworks in UP

Two persons, including a woman, have been booked here for illegally manufacturing fireworks, police said today.

A raid was conducted based on a tip off that several people were manufacturing fireworks without a license in area under Kotwali Mirechi, a police official said.



While six kg of fireworks and raw material was seized during the raid, the people managed to give police the slip, he added.
