Two engineering students booked for ragging junior

A student of a local engineering college has complained of ragging by two seniors who allegedly beat him up and indulged in some objectionable actions, following which they were booked under Anti-Ragging Act.

The incident occurred on November 20 in the hostel of JNTU college of engineering in Kukatpalli area.



According to Kukatpalli Housing Board Colony police, the duo, both students of second year, allegedly removed shirt of the junior and beat him up.

The case was registered against them after the victim approached the police. Further investigations are on.
