Two students today drowned in a stream in the Jhajjar Kotli area of Jammu district, police said.

Stanzin Ishey (26) and Tundup Namgyal (25) both were residents of and students of University of Jammu.



The duo had gone on an excursion at Jhajjar Kotli where they drowned when they went to take a bath in the stream, a police officer said.

The bodies have been retrieved and sent for postmortem.

A case has been registered.
