Vanessa Paradis dating Carla Bruni's ex?

The 39-year-old actress, who split from Depp earlier this year after 14 years together, was introduced to the musician by Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld, reported Daily Mail online.

"They're the same age and have similar backgrounds in music, so Karl was keen for them to meet. They have even recorded a duet called 'Enjoy' on Benjamin's latest album. They plan to promote and tour the album together next spring," a source said.

Benjamin is no stranger to the limelight as he has previously stepped out with France's former First Lady and is also the ex-husband of singer Chiara Mastroianni, the daughter of acclaimed French actress Catherine Deneuve and Italian actor Marcello Deneuve.

The new romance is reportedly Paradis's second since confirming her separation from Hollywood superstar Depp.

She was also linked to French businessman Guy-David Gharbi earlier this month.
