VC of BAM University manhandled by BJP activists

Madhav Phad, the student had registered for Ph.D in Public Administration two years ago and wanted to do research on leader Gopinath Munde, university officials said.

However, the University did not give its approval to the subject prompting the researcher and other BJP activists to start agitation since last couple of days.

A few activists entered the cabin of the Vice Chancellor this morning and had an heated argument with the latter following which they manhandled him.

The activists left the campus after the incident even as the employees union of the university protested against the manhandling of the Vice Chancellor.

VC of BAM University manhandled by BJP activists

The Vice Chancellor of Babasaheb Ambdekar Marathwada University, Vijay Pandharipande, was allegedly manhandled today at the campus by BJP activists over his refusal to allow a student to do a Ph.D on the party leader Gopinath Munde.
