Limited on Thursday announced it has been awarded a three-year IT infrastructure services and transformation contract by Woodside, an Australian and gas company with a global presence.

Leveraging its platform, will provide Managed Services for IT Infrastructure across Woodside's global portfolio, with a focus on the larger sites of Perth and Karratha in Australia, the company said. The engagement includes delivering infrastructure services to offshore maritime facilities and potential exploration sites, according to a release here. Backed by deep domain experience in & Gas, will also support Woodside with the transformation of its upstream operations, the release said.

Having worked with customers in starting 2002, Wipro, on Thursday has a presence in all major Australian cities - Sydney, Melbourne, Newcastle, Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane and Canberra, it said.

The company works with 55 plus customers across diverse industry sectors such as Banking, Insurance, Mining, Telecom, Energy, Government, Retail and Consumer Packaged Goods in Australia, the release said.
