A woman along with her two minor sons allegedly committed suicide by jumping into a well at Toda Pichhor village under Karera police station, a police officer said.
Karera Sub Divisional Officer of Police (SDOP), B P Tiwari said 35-year old Brijkunwar Bai, a resident of village Toda Pichhor, jumped along with her two sons into a well at around 11 pm yesterday.
"The woman jumped into the well along with her two sons 3-year old Jaidev and 4-year old Lokendra. The well is located on the outskirts of their village. The incident came to light when family members started searching for them," Tiwari said.
The reason behind taking the extreme step is yet not known and police is investigating further into the incident, he added.
