A 40-year-old man died after falling from a ladder outside Mall in Dwarka Sector 13 while he was fixing a glass sheet, police said today.

Jamadar Shah (40) and Rakesh Sah (33) were fixing the glass sheet when the aluminium ladder they were standing on fell down, said a senior police officer.



Jamadar hit his head on the ground after falling from a height of 30 metres and later succumbed during treatment, he said.

The other worker has been admitted to a hospital and is out of danger, police said.

A case has been registered against the company involved in installing glass sheets at Dwarka (North) police station, said the officer.

It was also found that the equipment being used by the company was faulty, he added.
