India aviation regulator orders grounding of 11 jets fitted with P&W engines

(Reuters) - India's regulator on Monday ordered immediate grounding of certain A320neo operated by Airlines and fitted with engines made by United Technologies Corp.

The of Civil in its statement has asked the airlines not to refit the affected engines.

Eight operated by IndiGo, India's biggest low-cost carrier which is owned by Aviation, and 3 operated by its rival are affected by the order.
