Japan's finance ministry to admit altering land sale documents - Kyodo

(Reuters) - Japan's will admit altering documents involved in a controversial sale of state-owned land, reported on Saturday, the latest in a scandal that threatens to erode Shinzo Abe's popularity.

The ministry will report to parliament on Monday that it found several cases where content present in the original versions of the documents was removed later, the agency said, citing multiple unidentified sources.
