| The Kolkata-based MSP group, a steel manufacturer in the secondary sector in eastern India, plans to set up a Rs 124-crore greenfield integrated steel plant at Raigarh, Chhattisgarh.
| | | | | "The new project has been planned in view of the surge in demand for sponge iron expected in the coming years. The project envisages setting up of a 1,92,000 TPA (tonne per annum) sponge iron plant along with 24 mega watts captive power plant, a 95,109 TPA steel melt shop with bilolet caster and a 80000 TPA re-rolling mill with thermex TMT plant. A coal washery of 5,76,000 TPA and a private railway siding will enhance the economic strength of the project," Puran Mal Agarwal, chairman, MSP group, said on Tuesday.
| | | | | The company has already secured loans worth Rs 76.75 crore and working capital facility of Rs 25 crore. The entire promoters' contribution has already been brought in and total project investment to the tune of Rs 95 crore has been made to date.
