The company manufactures flexible packaging products. It has facilities for extrusion, printing, lamination, master batch-making, recycling granules, slittering, gazetting and pouching. It has two plants in Maharashtra -- at Goregaon in Bombay and Igatpuri in Nashik. The present capacity for multi-layer extrusions is 1008 tpa and that for mono-layer extrusions is 576 tpa.
The company's major clients are Brittania, Patel Products, S M Foods, Zaika Salt, Captain Cook, Star Gutkha, Sterlite, etc.
The company plans to substantially expand its present capacities in flexible packaging and to diversify into HDPE/PP woven sacks with a project cost of Rs 22 cr. The project is expected to start commercial production during 1997-98.
In view of the losses exceeding the net worth of the company, it has become a sick industrial company in the year 1999-2000.
