Golden Soya Limited was incorporated as a Private Limited Company and later converted into a Public Limited Company. The Company was promoted to process soya beans and to produce soya oil and to process the vegetable oils into refined and hydrogenated oils like Vanaspati Ghee.
The Company is currently engaged in finalising the startup of Phase i.e. Solvent Extraction Plant and is also engaged in finalising the process of putting up of Phase II i.e. Vanaspati Plant.
The Company purchased the Solvent Extraction Plant in an auction held, under the authority of District Judge, Raipur for an amount of Rs. 39.50 lacs. The Company acquired main Solvent Plant (100 TPD Capacity), Boiler House, Oil Storage Tanks, Transformer and Electrical Installations, Godowns (40000 sft), Office Blank (1000 sft) and 7.5 Acres at Lease hold land, alongwith a Solvent Extraction Plant.
Now the Company has decided to put up a Vanaspati Unit, which will consume all the Soya Oil, to be produced by Company's Solvent extraction plant. Thus this project is in nature of forward integration.
The commercial production was delayed due to delay in receipt of machinery from plant suppliers and clearance from government departments viz. approval from the Boiler Ispector of Madhya Pradesh which was received on 9th June, 1994 for inspection and hydraulic testing by Boiler.
