UK plans to impose a £3,000 bond on Indians visiting that country. How should India respond?

London wants to demand a £3000-bond from Indian visitors as surety that they will leave United Kingdom and not become an illegal migrant. The move is demeaning especially in the light of UK Prime Minister David Cameron's recent visit to India to strengthen ties. Should India simply protest as it has been doing or should it do a tit-for-tat? We look forward to your response.
