Rajendra Kakker has joined Reliance Asset Reconstruction Company, a part of the Reliance Capital Group, as president.
According to a release issued by Reliance ARC, Rajendra Kakker comes to the firm from Asset Reconstruction Company India (Arcil) where he was MD and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and undertook the crucial task of setting up the company’s operations in India - the first and only successfully operating asset reconstruction company in the country.
Prior to his assignment with Arcil, Kakker was Managing Director of State Bank of Hyderabad (2002-2003), and served State Bank of India (1967-2002) for over 35 years.
