Chirag Paswan, son of politician Ramvilas Paswan, was intelligent enough to avoid minefileds when he launched his film Mile Na Miley Hum recently. While the film was not exactly a runaway success at the box office, it did manage some traction in Bihar. But Biharis were won over by Paswan’s diplomacy when he was in Patna to promote the movie. When asked what he thought of the government led by Nitish Kumar, he conceded that things had improved considerably under the Nitish Kumar-led NDA administration, but added that things could be even better under a Lalu Prasad-Paswan government. When asked if he would like to invite Nitish Kumar for the opening of his debut movie, Paswan said: “Why only Nitish Kumar? I would like to invite all the chief ministers to see my film.” It is not known how many chief ministers actually saw his film.
