Officials of Jammu and Kashmir Excise Department today recovered over 14 quintals of poppy straw in Kathua district, police sources said here.

During checking of goods in a truck, officials found this huge consignment of poppy straw concealed in bags at Lakhanpur, the entry point to Jammu and Kashmir, about 90 kilometres from here around 10.00 a.M. Today, they said.
