At least 30 people were killed and 26 others injured when a bus fell into a deep gorge in Himachal Pradesh’s Kangra valley on Friday, police said. “The number of dead is 30, while 26 others have been injured,” said Rakesh Sharma, SDM Dehra on phone.

“The accident took place at around 11 am. The injured have been rushed to the nearest hospital in Dharamsala,” he said. The accident took place near Haripur bandhar, around 210-km from Shimla. The police, along with locals, are helping in the rescue operations.
