Corporate / Sep 30, 2009, 00:16 IST

Noor Mohammad from Haveri district - first winner from Karnataka.

6UP, the runs per over sms game, was successfully launched across Karnataka with iPlayUp announcing Noor Mohammad as the first winner from the Haveri District, Karnataka. Noor Mohammad, a true cricket enthusiast, proved his intellectual cricketing skills by playing 6UP and winning cash prize.  6UP is a unique mobile based game, without peer or precedent. With 6UP going live during Champions Trophy 2009, it has given fans the opportunity to interact with live cricket in a way that adds a challenge and thrill to watching the game.

On this occasion, 6UP Co-founder, Mr. George Tomeski said, “Karnataka is a great cricket loving state. We are very happy to have successfully launched the game in the state and on receiving an overwhelming response from the cricket lovers there. We’ve no doubt we’ll be announcing more winners from Karnataka in the near future.”

Noor Mohammad was the first lucky winner and he said, “I am delighted to be the first winner of the new interactive sms game 6UP. 6UP is an exciting yet a simple game based on my favorite sport – cricket. I follow cricket and this game gave me an opportunity to be part of a live match and test my gaming skills. I look forward to playing and winning more games soon.”

6UP is an interactive game that involves making predictions about live cricket overs i.e. players can take into consideration the situation of the match - playing conditions, the required run rate, the batter, the bowler and match status prior to making a play. Players have an insight into everything that’s happening in the match at the moment they want to play making it the only game of its kind in the world designed to enable players to participate in the game in true, real time. It makes you – the fan- part of every minute of the action.
