Aarti Industries, the leading manufacturer of speciality chemicals with diversified end-uses into agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, polymer additives, surfactants, dyes and pigments, reported a 105 per cent increase in its consolidated net profit at Rs 83.75 crore for the financial year ended March 2009 as compared to Rs 40.87 crore in the previous year.

Total sales of the company increased 50.77 per cent to Rs 1,355.70 crore from Rs 899.16 crore.

On standalone basis, net profit of the company posted 120 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 80.68 crore for the financial year ended March 2009 from Rs 36.67 crore during the last year.
