| Aban Offshore zooms 27% on bagging order |

The stock zoomed to a high of Rs 1,565 and finally ended the day at Rs 1,536, up 27% from the previous close. Around 3.86 million shares were traded at the BSE as compared to the two-week daily average traded volumes of 996,439 shares. _____________________________________________

Aban Offshore has zoomed on the back of a Rs 2,925 crore contract.
The stock opened at Rs 1,264 and sky-rocketed 20% to a high of Rs 1,451. The stock is now trading with a huge gain of 18% at Rs 1,432. The counter has clocked heavy trade volumes of 957,977 shares on the BSE so far.
The company has bagged a contract worth Rs 2,925 crore for the deployment of three newly built jack-up rigs in the Middle-East for a period of three years each.
Further, another contract has been signed for the deployment of a newbuild jack-up rig in Latin America. The estimated revenues from the Contract is Rs 446 Crores.
