AIMA institutes R K SWAMY Award for High Performance Brands
Announcement / Economy Sep 29, 2009, 20:10 IST

The All India Management Association, the apex body for 58 Local Management Associations across the country, has instituted the AIMA-R K SWAMY High Performance Brand Award, named after the founder of one of India’s leading advertising agencies, the eponymous R K SWAMY BBDO, and one of its past presidents. The Award aims to celebrate high performance brands and is open to all brands created in India, for India and the world.

Nominations are being invited for brands from both the SME (capital employed below Rs 30 crs.) and non-SME (capital employed above Rs 30 crs) categories. The High Performance Brand of the Year Award will use consumer and financial data to analyse performance of the brands that are nominated.

The award is supported by R K SWAMY BBDO which has always placed the performance of the brand ahead of all other metrics. Equitor Management Consulting will be the Knowledge Partner for this award. An independent jury appointed by AIMA will select the winner.

AIMA has called for nominations from among its large membership base as well as from people from the marketing fraternity. Nominations from the company themselves as well as third-party nominations are being considered. Any brand created in India can be nominated. The award will be presented during AIMA’s Marketing Summit scheduled in February 2010 to be held in Delhi.
