National air-carrier Air India would offer freebies such as free-tickets, holiday packages, air-conditioners and microwaves to its agents, who give the airline good sales using global reservation system, Galileo.
"Close on the heels of the recent major fare reduction and 'Spouse Plus' scheme for the passengers, Air India is now offering attractive incentives for its approved travel agents," a company press release said today.
The highest performers would be rewarded with gifts like free tickets, air-conditioners, microwaves, movie tickets and a bumper prize of holidays package, the company said.
The move is aimed at enhancing Air India's sales on designated flights in domestic sectors, it said.
Air India has planned a joint promotion campaign with Galileo to enhance sales on its domestic sectors by using its terminals.
The attractive offers come a day after the national air-carrier reduced its domestic basic air fares by up to 82 per cent.
