The stock jumped 9 per cent to Rs 71.35 after the company allotted 9.63 million equity shares to Mauritius-based IPRO Funds, a foreign fund, under preferential allotment.

The allotment of 7.82 per cent stake to IPRO Funds at Rs 70 a share which includes a premium of Rs 65 a share. Foreign Institutional Investors hold 4.98 per cent stake in the company at the end of September 2009 quarter.
