Demonstrating continued market successes and leadership, Telcordia (www.telcordia.com) today announced the appointment of Anuj Kapur as Country Head for Telcordia Service Delivery Solutions in India. This recent appointment reaffirms Telcordia’s commitment to the India market as it helps communications service providers (CSPs) manage accelerated subscriber growth by offering flexible solutions that maximize network efficiencies that enable fast deployments of new services that drive revenue and retain subscribers.
Kapur earned his MBA from Delhi University (FMS) and has more than 20 years of sales, distribution, marketing, business development and corporate strategy experience. Previously, he served as Country Head (Telecom) Marketing and Infrastructure at Samsung, Vice President and Head Sales -- India at Alcatel and Director of Services Sales, South Asia at Alcatel Lucent.

It also includes Telcordia India Labs, a state-of-the-art facility based in Chennai, which provides dedicated development and software resources for mobile, fixed line and cable operators throughout India.
Telcordia has a long history in the India market and works with leading CSPs including Tata Teleservices, Idea Cellular, Reliance Communications, the Department of Telecommunications and the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of India, among others. Recently, MNP Interconnection Telecom Solutions India Pvt Ltd, a joint venture of Telcordia, was selected by the India Department of Telecommunications (DoT) as the provider of number portability clearinghouse and centralized database services for the country's southern and eastern regions for the next 10 years.
