Pursuant to a scheme of arrangement, the assets of Asian Hotels (North) has been transferred to Asian Hotels (East).
Asian Hotels (East) had alloted over 1.14 crore equity shares to the shareholders of the Asian Hotels (North), which the company is now listing on the bourses.
On the National Stock Exchange, stocks of Asian Hotels (East) were quoting at Rs 375.90 after listing at Rs 434.75.
On the volume front over six lakh shares of the company were traded on the two bourses in the morning trade.
