Asian markets end +ve; Hang Seng up 2%

All the Asian markets barring the Nikkei ended on a firm note.

The Hang Seng advanced 419 points or 2% to 21,886. The Shanghai Composite was up 34 points or 1% at 2,971.

The Nikkei ended marginally down at 10,060.

The Straits Times added 33 points or 1% to 2,701 and the Seoul Composite moved up 20 points or 1% to 1,650.

The Taiwan Weighted Index climbed up 99 points or 1% to 7,697.

Asian markets have continued to trade in green. The Hang Seng has added 292 points (1.3%) to 21,760. The Nikkei, however, has slipped 16 points to 10,060.

The Taiwan Weighted and the Seoul Composite have gained 1.3% each to 1,649 and 7,695, respectively.

The Shanghai Composite is up 28 points to 2,965. The Straits Times has moved up 17 points to 2,685.

Hang Seng is quoting at 21,698, higher by 231 points or 1%, while the Nikkei is marginally down 25 points or 0.2% at 10,051.

Shanghai Composite is at 2,984, up 48 points or 1.6%.

Straits Times is placed at 2,675, up 7 points or 0.2%, Seoul is quoting at 1,648, stronger by 19 points or 1.2% and the Taiwan is at 7,652, up 55 points or 0.7%.
