Asian markets end flat

The Asian markets have closed on a flat note. The Hang Seng added 0.7 points to 21,208, while Nikkei slipped three points to 10,563.

The Straits Times added 17 points to 2,856, Taiwan Weighted moved up eight points to 7,779 and Seoul Composite ended virtually unchanged at 1,662.

And the Shanghai Composite declined 20 points to 3,048.

Asian markets are flat. The Hang Seng has added 24 points to 21,231. The Nikkei, however, has slipped 11 points to 10,557.

The Straits times has added 22 points to 2,861. The Taiwan Weighted has moved up six points to 7,777.

The Shanghai Composite has declined 17 points to 3,053. The Seoul Composite is flat at 1,658.

The Asian markets have opened on a flat note this morning.

The Hang Seng has slipped 11 points to 21,197. The Nikkei is flat at 10,559, down nine points.

The Shanghai Composite Index is marginally down five points at 3,064.

The Taiwan Weighted Index has declined 14 points at 7,756 and the Seoul Composite is down two points at 1,658, respectively.

The Straits Times on the other hand has added 16 points or 0.5% at 2,855.
