| Asian markets end mixed |

The Asian markets ended on a mixed note. The Hang Seng slipped 74 points to 22,840. The Nikei ended 53 points down at 9,676.
The Shanghai Composite Index is up 21 points at 3,303.
The Straits Times declined 14 points to 2,751. The Seoul Composite advanced 18 points to 1,604 and the Taiwan Weighted Index added 34 points to 7,766, respectively.

The Asian markets opened marginally in the red and have now made further inroads into negative territory.
Hang Seng is now trading at 22,700, lower by 213 points or 0.93%, and the Nikkei is at 9,631, weaker by 98 points pr 1.01%.
However, Seoul and Taiwan are trading in the green. Seoul Composite is placed at 1,595, firmer by 9.4 points or 0.60% and the Taiwan Weighted is at 7,757, higher by 23 points or 0.31%.
The Shanghai is quoting marginally higher by 8.57 points or 0.26% at 3,291.
