Asian markets in green, Hang Seng surges

The Asian markets continue to trade in green.

The Hang Seng has rallied 295 points (1.6%) to 18,554. The Nikkei has gained 105 points (1%) at 9,374.

The Taiwan Weighted has added 42 points to 6,781. The Straits Times and the Shanghai Composite have moved up 18 points each to 2,407 and 3,207, respectively.

The Seoul Composite is flat at 1,430 - up 10 points.

The Asian markets have today opened on a positive note.

The Hang Seng has advanced 295 points (2%) to 18,553. The Nikkei has added 206 points (2%) to 9,475.

The Shanghai Composite is up six points at 3,195.

The Straits Times has increased 32 points (1.5%) to 2,421.The Seoul Composite is up 10 points at 1,431 and the Taiwan Weighted index has moved up 101 points at 6,840.
