| Asian markets end with gains |

The Hang Seng advanced 144 points to 17,921. The Nikkei was up 83 points at 9,786.
The Shanghai Composite added 26 points to 2,880.
The Straits Times moved up 33 points to 2,270, and the Taiwan Weighted Index soared 87 points to 6,231.
The Seoul composite was flat at 1,383.

The Asian markets are now trading in green.
The Hang Seng has adavnced 104 points to Rs 17,881. The Nikkei is up 18 points at 9,722.
The Shanghai Composite is up 26 points at 2,881.
The Straits Times is up 28 points at 2,265 and the Taiwan Weighted Index has gained 77 points at 6,222.
The Seoul Composite is three points higher at 1,379.

The Asian markets have opened today on a positive note and now mostly all the indices are trading flat.
The Hang Seng has advanced 68 points to 17,844.
The Nikkei has added 29 points to 9,733.
The Shanghai Composite is up seven points at 2,861 and the Seoul Composite is flat at 1,376.
The Straits Times and the Taiwan Weighted have gained 23 points each at 2,259 and 6,168, respectively.
