Asian markets are trading soft this morning. Hang Seng has dropped 1.2% to 21,134. Nikkei has shed 2% at 9,044.

Straits Times and Seoul Composite hav slipped 1% each to 3,005 and 1,773.

Shanghai Composite has declined 17 points to 2,681.
