| Asian markets end positive; Nikkei up 3% |

The Hang Seng advanced 203 points or 1% at 21,902.
The Nikkei increased 246 points or 2.5% at 10,108.
The Shanghai Composite Index ended flat at 3,247.
The Taiwan Weighted Index added 117 points or 1.5% at 7,795. The Straits Times and the Seoul Composite Index were up marginally at 2,803 and 1,657, respectively.

The Asian markets continue to trade in the green.
The Hang Seng has zoomed 345 points to 22,045 and the Nikkei has advanced 127 points at 9,990.
The Shanghai Composite has increased by 6 points at 3,260.
The Straits Times has added 0.5% at 2,795 and the Taiwan has strengthened by 89 points at 7,767.
The Seoul Composite Index is flat at 1,654.

The Asian markets have today opened on a positive note.
The Hang Seng has zoomed 405 points or 2% to 22,105. The Nikkei has advanced 79 points at 9,942.
The Shanghai Composite Index has increased 23 points at 3,277.
The Straits Times and the Taiwan Weighted Index have added over 0.5% each at 2,798 and 7,737, respectively.
The Seoul Composite Index is flat at 1,653.
