It is the hunt for the best young brain in the country, a ‘Aviva Young Scholar Nat Geo Junior’, someone who is articulate, curious, smart and aware; in short a complete all-rounder. It is the channel’s endeavor to extend its popular children’s block ‘Nat Geo Junior’, on-ground to provide an intelligent platform for kids to showcase their talent through a stimulating and invigorating learning experience.
Talking about the initiative, Aviva’s Brand Ambassador, Sachin Tendulkar said, “Aviva Young Scholar Nat Geo Junior Hunt is a great opportunity for children to hone their skills, test their awareness levels and realise their true potential. Aviva Young Scholar Nat Geo Junior Hunt is yet another initiative in the same direction. We believe that this is a fantastic platform for young kids to showcase their talent and get an opportunity to win Aviva Scholarships.” said, Vishal Gupta, Director Marketing, Aviva India.
"In its third successful year, Aviva Young Scholar Nat Geo Junior Hunt our unique school engagement programme returns to stimulate the young and inquisitive minds to learn more about the world they live in, while enjoying the complete experience. The extraordinary response we received for the last two seasons motivates us to take this one of a kind programme to new heights”, said Rajesh Sheshadri, Senior Vice President – Content and Communication, National Geographic Channel.
Entering into its third successful year, Nat Geo Junior Hunt reaffirms its credibility as it reaches out to over 400 reputed schools, targeting approximately 4,00,000 children, aged between 10-14 years, across 14 cities in India (Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Jaipur, Kanpur, Chandigarh, Cochin and Patna).
The selection process for this nationwide hunt provides a rigorous training ground for children, starting with the innovative ‘Think again’ tests which will be conducted across schools in India. The tests will be then followed by scientifically designed rounds, which include games, puzzles, debates, thinking out of the box challenges, an adventure camp and grooming sessions.
In terms of gratification, there are 4 national and 20 city scholarships to be won. The winner will also get to host the Nat Geo Junior show for 3-months on the National Geographic Channel, along with a bouquet of prizes from other partners associated with the hunt.
