a) for supply of 72 bundles of air heaters for “receiving and re-gassification terminal” of Petronet LNG Ltd

b) for supply of 46 number of air cooled heat exchanges (ACHE) for naphtha hydro treating unit (NHT) and vacuum gas oil hydro treating unit (VGO HDT) from HPCL - Mittal Energy Ltd

c) for supply of 30 number of ACHE for its refinery expansion project at Vadinar, Gujarat.

BGR Energy has obtained a contract from CINDA, a subsidiary of Taiwan-based largest integrated engineering and construction firm - “CTCI Corporation,” for design, engineering and supply of 72 bundles of air heaters for “receiving and regassification terminal” of Petronet LNG Ltd and Kochi, Kerala. The contract packages will be delivered by November 2010.

The company believes that this contract can pave way for the company to enter into the international market in LNG processing and open up opportunities in the growing gas sector in India.

It has secured a contract from HPCL - Mittal Energy Ltd (HMEL) for supply of air cooled heat exchangers for Guru Gobind Singh Refinery Project at Bhatinda, Punjab. The contract is to be completed within 8 months. The scope of the contract, includes design, supply, erection and commissioning of 46 number of air cooled heat exchangers at project site for naphtha hydro treating unit (NHT) and vacuum gas oil hydro heating unit (VGO HDT).

Essar oil has awarded a contract for supply 30 numbers of air cooled heat exchangers for its refinery expansion project at Vadinar, Gujarat, in lieu of its earlier order for supply of fin tube bundles for the same project.

In August 2008, Essar Oil contracted for supply of 169 Nos of fin tube bundles for train - II unit of the project. Later, it decided to hold the works in train - II unit, due to some internal reasons. Eventually, the company has modified the contract and now, a fresh order for supply of air cooled heat exchangers has been awarded.

With these, the order book of the company has grown four fold in 18 months - from Rs 3,200 crore at the beginning of the financial year 2008-09 to Rs 12,200 crore now.
