BGR Energy Systems Limited, an EPC company for power projects, has been awarded the balance of plant (BOP) contract for 2X 500 Mw Marwa Thermal Power Project, being set up by the Chhattisgarh State Power Generation Company Limited.
The turnkey project is valued at Rs 1,633.71 crore. The project is awarded with a price variation clause to adjust the movement of costs of raw material, equipment and labour with a ceiling of 15 per cent.
The project includes design, engineering, manufacturing, assembly, inspection, testing and erection of equipment among others, according to a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
Its stock traded at Rs 470.10, up by Rs 20.7 (4.61 per cent) from the previous close of Rs 449.4 on the BSE.
