BGR Energy Systems jumped 13.41 per cent to Rs 247.80 after winning a contract worth Rs 4,900 crore for engineering, procurement and construction of a thermal power project in Rajasthan.
The contract for the 1,200 megawatt power project was awarded by the Rajasthan Vidyut Utpadan Nigam and is scheduled to be completed in 42 months.
With this latest order, the company's order book stands over Rs 11,000 crore. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs 258.50 and a low of Rs 216.30. A total of 12,12,112 shares were traded on the counter. |
