Book online and cheer India LIVE at the ICC World Twenty20 in England!
Win VIP Hospitality Match Tickets Daily
Announcement / Corporate May 28, 2009, 19:55 IST

Emirates, the Dubai-based international airline, is offering its customers a chance to book online and win four ICC World Twenty20 VIP match tickets, per day, until 30th May 2009. The winning passengers will be treated to match tickets that will give them access to an enclosed seating area, complimentary refreshments and spacious seating throughout the course of the match.

To win match tickets, travellers must purchase air-tickets online at www.emirates.com/in between now and 30th May 2009 to any of Emirates’ five destinations in the UK, namely London (Heathrow and Gatwick), Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle and Glasgow. Four non-transferable VIP match tickets are up for grabs per day until 30th May - the first four people to book will stand a chance of winning. The final winners’ list is at the discretion of Emirates and will be published on www.emirates.com/in by 3rd June 2009.

Extending its sports sponsorship commitment globally, Emirates airline has introduced this special “Book to win” contest for its passengers from India for the forthcoming ICC World Twenty20, from 5th -21st June 2009 in London.

These match tickets will be applicable for all the group-stage matches which India plays. Travel must originate between June 1st and 16th and airfares do not include taxes and visa costs. This once in-a-lifetime VIP experience is only for Emirates passengers and doesn’t apply to code-share passengers.

Emirates airline currently flies 163 weekly flights from 10 Indian destinations connecting 22 destinations in Europe directly from Dubai. It is one of the largest non-UK based carriers flying into the UK on a weekly basis with over 90 flights per week. Apart from this, Emirates also offers passengers the option of flying into two or more destinations in Germany, France and Italy, all of which are very popular from India.

Emirates airline currently flies to 100 destinations in 60 countries across six continents.
