Boom in vehicles' sales in Ahmedabad
Press Trust of India / Ahmedabad Oct 06, 2009, 15:05 IST

Revival in the stock markets and improvement in the economy has led to boom in vehicles' sale from two wheelers to cars and other commercial vehicles in the city since three to four months.

Gor added that from February to September 2009, number of vehicles registered per month on average crosses 12,000, which shows a huge spurt in the vehicles market.

In February, 11,930 vehicles were registered, it jumped to 14,445 in March and subsequently, it remained steady over 12,000 vehicles subsequently.

Total 11,608 in April, 12,198 in May, 11,087 in June, 13,221 in July, 12,708 in August and 12,710 in September.
