Candid Marketing appoints Roshan Nair as Associate Creative Director
Announcement / Corporate Oct 06, 2009, 20:16 IST

Denstu Communications’ ex-Creative Group Head joins India’s No. 1 Brand Activation Agency

Candid Marketing, India’s No.1 Brand Activation Agency, has appointed Roshan Nair as Associate Creative Director. With an experience of over eight years in the creative and marketing field, Roshan’s task would be to conceive and improvise the creative spheres of activations. Roshan’s shift to Candid comes at a time when the industry is looking upbeat about the economy.

Speaking on Roshan’s appointment Ms. Amrita Kumar, VP Content & Planning, Candid Marketing said, “Creative is a crucial part of any successful campaign, it becomes all the more important in regards to activations as we try to reach people in less obvious and more unique methods. With Roshan joining Candid, we can be assured that if we were No.1 previously, we shall begin setting higher benchmarks in activations going forward.”

Elaborating on his new role, Mr. Roshan Nair, Associate Creative Director, Candid Marketing said, “In a crowded market, it makes more sense to out-think the competition than waste resources trying to out-perform them. Candid has been regularly creating campaigns which re-define innovations in the activations space. My brief here in one simple word - Elevate.”

An MBA from the University of Pune, Roshan started his career as a Management Trainee with Procter & Gamble India Ltd., where his profile included Sales & Distribution activities covering the entire state of Kerala. This assignment required him to travel extensively across rural Kerala in addition to overseeing the upgradation process of the existing distribution network, managing inventory & labour and organizing motivational workshops.

Prior to joining Candid, Roshan was working with Dentsu Communications, Delhi as a Creative Group Head on brands such as Aircel, Yamaha, Panasonic, Incredible India, DLF and NACO

He has also worked on accounts like Air Hostess Academy (AHA), Government of India – Ministry of Food Processing, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Tourism, Delhi Government and GE, DELL, NIIT during his stints at iB&W Communications and RK Swamy/BBDO respectively.

Over the last year Candid has grown by over 40 per cent, providing on ground activation strategies to clients like HUL, Nokia, ESPN Star Sports, Cadbury, Pepsi, Star TV, Castrol, Mars Foods and many other MNCs.
