Castorseed prices surged by Rs 15.50, or 0.41 per cent, to Rs 3,788 per quintal on aggressive buying by traders in line with higher spot market cues.

Marketmen said heavy industrial units' demand amid restricted supply in physical markets, influenced the trading sentiment here in futures price of castorseed.
