Container Corporation of India (CCI) today said its net profit declined by 0.49 per cent to Rs 200.8 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2009, over the same period last year.

The company had a net profit of Rs 201.8 crore in the same quarter ended June 2008, Container Corporation of India said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

Total income rose to Rs 948.64 crore in the latest quarter against Rs 867.6 crore in the same period previous fiscal.
