Chemical manufacturer Ciba India today said it has appointed BSR & Co Chartered Accountants, an Indian associate of KPMG, as the statutory auditors of the company.     

In a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Ciba India said its shareholders at the annual general meeting (AGM) yesterday has approved the appointment of BSR & Co as the statutory auditors with immediate effect.

Shares of Ciba India were trading at Rs 212.55, up 1.17 per cent in the afternoon trade on the BSE.
