CII announces the 4th edition of Energy Expo 2009

After the tremendous success of all 3 editions, CII is pleased to announce the 4th edition of Energy Expo 2009, International Exhibition, to be held between 9-11 October 2009 at Ahmedabad, Gujarat, under the chairmanship of Mr Sudhir Trehan, Managing Director, Crompton Greaves Ltd.

CII’s Energy Expo 2009 is supported by Ministry of Power, Government of India & Host State, Government of Gujarat (Energy & Petrochemicals Department).

Energy Expo 2009, which has now become one of the leading events for the Energy sector in India will prove to be an excellent opportunity for the exhibitors and business houses.  Energy Expo 2009, the flagship event of CII covering the Energy Industry will be one of the premiere venues for getting an informed outlook on the energy industry.

Energy Expo 2009 has shaped up extremely well and we have received encouraging response from all parts of India.  We have already received participation of over 75 companies.

Energy Expo 2009 will focus on key issues in the Energy sector interalia Power, Coal, Gas, Renewable Energy, Non-Renewable Energy, Clean & Green Energy, Power Transmission and Distribution equipments and Financing Options.

CEO’s & Top executives from Energy manufacturing Industry’s, Engineers & Consultants, Project Developers, Senior Executives from power utilities, Operations/Technical Managers, Purchase Managers etc. will be visiting the Exhibition.

The objective of the Exhibition will be to rope in not only the manufacturers and suppliers but all stakeholders of the energy sector on one platform. The Exhibition will enable the participants to showcase their products and services to the decision makers from leading Indian and multinational Energy companies.

Concurrent to Energy Expo 2009, India Energy Conclave 2009 will also be held on 9 October 2009, to bring in synergy between the manufacturers and the end users.  The Conclave is a pioneering attempt to bring together crosscurrents of opinions, views and ideas inherent to the Energy Industry, as it prepares to meet new challenges and imperatives.  The aim of the Conclave is to provide a broad overview of the performance of the sector and to draw attention to the major hurdles in the development of this sector.
