CII chief discusses reverse outsourcing with Hillary Clinton

Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) President and Bharti group chief Sunil Bharti Mittal has met Senator and US Presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton and briefed her about the new trend of reverse outsourcing by Indian companies to American firms.
Mittal was accompanied by a delegation of leading Indian industrialists including Hari S Bhartia of Jubilant Organosys, C K Birla of Hindustan Motors, Atul Punj of Punj Lloyd and Tarun Das.
During the meeting yesterday at the Capitol Hill, the CII President discussed with Clinton how the fast globalising Indian firms have started reverse outsourcing to the US firms, the chamber said in a statement.
Mittal also briefed her about a major brand building project by India to be launched in the US in September this year. The project has been branded as ‘India@60 - the India 3 D: Democracy, Diversity, Demographics’.
